Our Player Development Clinics are perfect for those that really want to build their skills. These sessions are not for beginners, but rather for those that have had some playing experience. If you want practice as well as league play, this is the right choice. The sessions are segmented by gender and age group so you’ll be sure to go through the instruction with other players just like you.
The focus of these clinics is to build outstanding stickwork both left and right-handed. A premium is placed on individual play so that you understand the offensive and defensive techniques that support your position. Defensive and offense players are prepared separately as the course progresses in order for you to exercise your new skills in team and game contexts. For example, attack players will work more on shooting while defense players will practice long clearing passes. Strong fundamentals are reinforced as well as dodging, shooting, one-on-one play, team play, and positioning.
The coaching staff assigned to this program is made up of mature, experienced individuals that coach currently at the college and high school level. Each one has demonstrated the ability to teach students positively and get results. Player Development Clinics are offered for both boys and for high school girls.
Please note that we strongly recommend our Clinic for New Players for those that have not had formal training in lacrosse.
