Summer Leagues 2008

Women's Elite League.
For college players, post graduates, and varsity starters only, this league for women is designed for those that want to keep honing their skills and enjoy a competitive game.  Game format will be 8v8 for lots of "touches" and action.  Games will be played indoors at Ultimate Soccer Arenas, where it's cool and safe.  No sunblock or mosquito repellent is needed, and there's a posh, clean ladies room, restaraunt, and coffee bar right off the field.  Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30.  $125 includes funky reversible jersey.

Leagues for Boys.
All American Lacrosse Leagues for boys feature on-field coaching from our peerless staff and MICHLOA officials to call the games according to the rules for each level of play.  For younger age groups (through grade 6) we use a hybrid approach with structured drills and lessons for the first part of each hour, followed by a game (coaches on field).  These leagues are $150 which includes jersey and will be played at Ultimate Soccer.  Here are the age groups and time ranges. Register for the grade you will be entering in September 2008.

Leagues For Girls.
All American Lacrosse Leagues for girls feature on-field coaching and MWLOA officials to call the games according to the rules for each level of play. Only coaches that specialize in girls lacrosse work with the players.  For younger age groups (through grade 8) we use a hybrid approach with structured drills and lessons for the first part of each hour, followed by a game (coaches on field).  These leagues are $150 which includes jersey and will be played at Ultimate Soccer Arenas.  Here are the age groups and time ranges. Register for the grade you will be entering in September 2008.
This is a developmental league designed for middle schoolers with the purpose of providing intense instruction to build proper skills to enable play at a high level. This league is a joint effort of All American and the Michigan Warriors.   M.E.L.L. is different than any other league.
  1. There is a two-hour practice every week.
  2. There is a one-hour game each week.
  3. Teams will be developed by draft.
Please note that this means players will be evaluated and allocated to teams to ensure balance throughout the league, and that you might not be placed on a team with your classmates.
The two hour practices will be led by Warriors and All American coaches with a ratio not to exceed 8:1.  The practices will be demanding.
This league is for the player who wants to develop extremely strong fundamentals to carry forward in his career.  Boys with some experience entering 8th or 9th grade in the Fall of 2008 are eligible, and exceptions might be made for strong rising 7th graders.
